History
The "Voltoncino" is a farmhouse Maremma of which the historical sources speak since the middle of 1700. It was located between the two strongholds of the State of the Royal Spanish Garrisons: Orbetello and Talamone.
The Spanish Government was followed by the Grand Dukes of Tuscany that sought to reclaim and make livable the Maremma, infested by malaria until after World War II.
Since the end of 1800 the family moved there from Amadori Casentino and "Tenuta Voltoncino" prospered thanks to the breeding of cows and horses Maremma and the cultivation of wheat.
